Ethics Committee

The MSCA Ethics Committee assists with responses to legal and ethical inquiries from members. Contributes to MSCA's professional development opportunities as appropriate.

Committee Goals

• Ensure all MSCA regions receive at least one ethics-focused training by 2027. (Collaborate with Professional Development Committee for delivery)

• Lead an annual ethics/professional practices training for all members based on ASCA standards, ensuring content appears at each Fall Conference. (Collaborate with Program Committee for conference integration)

• Contribute to the development of training and resources that clarify ethical practice implications when laws change. (Collaborate with the Legislative Advisory Committee for legislative context)
